Milling and Paving

Public Notice: City of Geneva DPW Milling & Paving Work

The City of Geneva Department of Public Works (DPW) will begin roadway milling and paving in multiple locations throughout the city, including:

Seneca St, South Main St, Twomey Pl, Park Ave, Pulteney St, Prospect Ave, North Ave, Maple St, Pleasant St, Larchmont St, 5 & 20, the North & South Cloverleafs, the South Exchange St Parking Lot, and all intersecting streets.

Key Information:

  • Start Date: September 2nd
  • Duration: Approximately three weeks (subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions)
  • Impact: Parking and through-traffic will be limited during workdays. Parking restrictions will be issued by the City DPW and may be enforced via towing.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Parking Lot Closures

The S. Exchange Street Parking Lot will be closed on Saturday, September 13 for painting, following the City’s paving schedule. The lot will re-open for parking on or before Sunday, September 14.

Thank you to Geneva DPW for their ongoing work maintaining our city streets and parking lots, and to the community for your patience and understanding!

The Seneca Street Parking Lot will be closed on Sunday, September 14, from 3:00 AM to 4:00 PM for the Wheels in Geneva Car, Truck & Bike Show. This community event runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and welcomes all vehicles, makes, and models — including cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors. Attendees can enjoy food, vendors, and music from a live DJ. Bring the whole family downtown for a day of fun and celebration! 

During the closure for the event, public parking will remain available at the S. Exchange Street Parking Lot, on city streets, and in other surrounding public lots.
