Castle Street Reconstruction, Phase I

Villager Construction will begin utility work on Castle Street between Brook Street and Main Street starting October 4, with typical working hours of (but not limited to) 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• East and Westbound through-traffic on Castle Street may be affected as required to perform work.

• Parking may be limited overnight and during construction hours.

• Access to businesses and residences will be maintained throughout the project. 

• Work will continue for the foreseeable future, as the capital improvement project progresses. 

• All work and schedules are subject to change due to weather and or unforeseen conditions.

The City of Geneva is seeking residents interested in serving on the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA). The ZBA considers appeals, variance requests, and interpretations of the City’s zoning ordinances to guide responsible development in our community.

Qualifications:

• Must be a resident of the City of Geneva.

• A strong interest in planning, land-use policy, or public service is desirable.

• Prior experience is helpful but not required.

Meetings:
The Board meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Geneva City Hall.
